Zlango is managed by seasoned individuals from a variety of fields. Its 45 employees speak a total of 13 different languages, and hold a total of 62 degrees, spanning a very broad reach, from law and electronic engineering, to philosophy and animal husbandry.

Yoav Lorch - Founder & CEO
Yoav Lorch had a rich career in the areas of linguistics, writing and business. He spent many years as a writer and translator, published six children's books, illustrated two, wrote plays, and over 200 TV scripts. He moved to the world of high-tech to found "PressPoint", a company that revolutionized newspaper printing. He led the company from inception to sales, raising over $20 million and establishing activities on all continents. Yoav created Zlango in 2004; it brings together his love of languages, communication and business.
Yoav speaks five languages, and holds degrees in Economics and Philosophy from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. In the rare moments he is not working Yoav can be found puffing into his saxophone, or paddling his kayak somewhere in the world.
Roni Haim - COO
Roni is a veteran of telecommunications and played a key role in the inception of two start-up companies and their evolution in becoming worldwide leading public companies. Roni has accumulated more than 20 years of experience in telecommunications design and management, including positions as COO, VP R&D and VP Technology & Engineering of Alvarion (Nasdaq:ALVR), VP R&D of Foxcom, founder and director of the Radio Group at Gilat Satellite Networks (Nasdaq:GILTF), and project manager at both Tadiran Electronic Industries and Elisra Electronic Systems. Roni is a summa cum laude graduate of Tel Aviv University, holding a bachelors and masters degree in electrical engineering and Communications. He earned his MBA, with distinction, from Bradford University, England. Roni enjoys travel, especially to India, and sports.
Yaron Shoshani - VP R&D
Yaron joined Zlango in 2008 and is currently leading the R&D and QA activities. Prior to joining Zlango, Yaron held a leading role in RegiSoft and was responsible for leading the R&D team there. Yaron has extensive experience with multiple communication protocols, integration with third party systems and end-user interfaces in the telecommunication industry.
Raz Tsafrir - Evangelist
Raz joined Zlango in early 2006, and he currently heads the Zlango sales team; Prior to Zlango, Raz held sales and management positions at Celltick, Pinpoint Technologies and CT Motion. Raz holds a BA degree in finance and an MBA degree from IESE, Spain. Raz loves sports and good food.
Yoav Tzruya - VP Marketing
Yoav Tzruya joined Zlango in 2008. Yoav is responsible for Zlango's strategy, go-to-market approach, corporate marketing, consumer marketing and strategic business development. Yoav brings over 15 years experience in software development and marketing, and is a recognized industry expert in the fields of digital media, value-added services and business support systems. Prior to joining Zlango, Yoav has fulfilled various roles, including CMO and COO with Exent Technologies Ltd. Prior to Exent, Yoav held several executive level positions at TeleKnowledge Group Ltd. Yoav led the development of mission critical projects for the Israeli Air Force for six years. Yoav holds a Masters of Science in Computer Science (cum laude) and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics (cum laude) from Tel-Aviv University in Israel and is finalizing his Executive MBA from Kellogg/Northwestern and Tel Aviv University.
Amir Yagil - VP Products
Amir joined Zlango in 2005 and leads Zlango's products team; spanning the mobile, web, language and creative realms. Prior to joining Zlango, Amir lead the content team at Celltick, establishing mobile content broadcast channels in many countries. His previous roles included managing Gizmoz' content team, marketing consultancy, copywriting and other advertising roles. Amir holds a BA degree in Economics and Geography from the Hebrew University Jerusalem. He enjoys singing to his baby boy, and indulges himself in photography, history, music and investigating languages' roles in our lives.
Alon Greenberg - CFO
Alon joined Zlango after serving as Director of Finance of Top Image Systems (NASDAQ:TISA) where he was in charge of a wide spectrum of financial tasks including acquisitions, fund raising, business and legal affairs, SEC reporting and international taxation. Before his tenure at Top Image Systems, Alon served as the Director of Finance of Tescom Israel (TSE:TSCM). Earlier, Alon was a Manager at E&Y Israel, where he escorted a variety of public and private companies. Alon is a Certified Public Accountant in Israel and holds B.A. in Business Administration from the College of Management. He loves hiking, sports and photography.
