Roni serves as both CEO and Board Member of Zlango. A veteran of telecommunications and hi-tech innovation for over 25 years, Roni has played key roles in the inception and evolution of several start-up companies including Alvarian (Nasdaq:ALVR) and Gilat Satellite Networks (Nasdaq:GILTF), as they became global leading NASDAQ public companies. Roni has accumulated more than 25 years experience including positions as founder and Board Member of RevoPrint, COO, VP R&D and VP Technology & Engineering of Alvarion , VP R&D of Foxcom, founder and director of the Radio Group at Gilat Satellite Networks, and Senior Project Manager at both Tadiran Electronic Industries and Elisra Electronic Systems. Roni's business experience extends from business strategy to mass production and deployments throughout Asia, Europe and the US.
Roni is a summa cum laude graduate of Tel Aviv University, holding Bachelors and Masters degrees in electrical engineering and Communications. He earned his MBA with distinction from Bradford University, England. Roni was a professional football player until the age of 23, playing in the coveted 12-championships holding Maccabi Haifa league. Roni enjoys travel, especially to India, and sports.
Lior Hanuka - CFO
Lior holds over 20 years experience in financial management within private and public companies. Lior joined Zlango after serving as CFO of Trivnet where he was in charge of a wide spectrum of financial tasks including fundraising, business and legal affairs, internal and external reporting and international taxation. Prior to joining Trivnet, Lior served as CFO of E&C Medical Intelligence, a US medical software company, and previously as CFO of Poalim - Sahar (Previously Sahar (Securities) Ltd). Earlier in his career, Lior was a Senior Manager at Kesselman & Kesselman (PricewaterhouseCoopers Israel), and Assistant Internal Auditor at Tadiran, Ltd.
Lior is a Certified Public Accountant, with a B.A. in Economics & Accounting from the Tel Aviv University Business School.
Avi Dorfman - VP R&D
Avi joined Zlango in 2011 and leads Zlango's R&D and QA activities. Prior to joining Zlango, Avi served as VP R&D at Radvision (NASDAQ: RVSN) a leading provider of products and technologies for visual communications over IP and 3G networks. His previous roles included leading the Voice Over IP R&D group at Comverse (NASDAQ: CMVT) and managing the ADSL system & integration group at Orckit (NASDAQ: ORCT). Avi holds a B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering, and a B.Sc. degree in Physics both from the Israel Institute of Technology, Israel, and an MBA from Tel Aviv University, Israel.
